e-news for week of 2/8/09 - 2/14/09

I’m really excited about the message this weekend. The response we’ve had to this series has been off the charts in terms of both the encouragement and the response. I think the big thing is it’s helped all of us realize that life is a journey and that we are at different points. I think we’ve also seen there is a commonality to life: Do you see God working? Do you see where and how God is leading you? Do you experience great levels of frustration on the journey? Do you see that God is faithful even in spite of your frustration? Do you see the challenges that God places in front of you? Do you see them as opportunities to grow in character and in faith or do they bring about complaint within your life? These are enduring life questions on the journey. This week ends the “Road Trip” series with the topic being: The end and the beginning. I think it’s going to help all of us to get a great perspective.

Are you praying for people to come to know the Lord? I sure hope so. I anticipate a lot of changed lives who are going to get connected to Jesus. -- Scott
