I hope that you have all had a great week and that you have been making all kinds of good choices! This week we will be looking at the book of Proverbs as we discuss how we should go about making intense decisions in our lives.
We are also excited to have Brice and Amanda Wurdeman with us this weekend. At the beginning of each service at South and North, Brice will share a little bit about some of the tough choices that he and his family have made during their mission work in Haiti. Also, we hope that you will come back to South Campus for an ice cream social with Brice and Amanda at 6 p.m. — Scott
Upcoming Events:
On August 1 at 8 a.m., you have the opportunity to participate in a bike ride on the Katy Trail. This scenic ride will be a slow paced trip and will take approximately 3 hours total time. Don’t have a bike? Not a problem. An anonymous donor will provide one for those who need it. Contact Tom Dresser 445.6000 or sign up on the web: http://www.ForumChristian.org/401459.ihtml.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Aug. 23, when we’ll host Show- Me Christian Youth Home at the Forum South Campus. You can pick up a name in the foyer and purchase new school clothes for children in need. The purchases, which should be returned to the church by Aug. 16, will be given to the kids when they visit Forum on Aug. 23.
On August 28 and 29 Christian Fellowship Church is hosting a Living Proof Live Simulcast featuring Beth Moore. Tickets are $20 and include admission to both days. Limited tickets are available at the Forum Christian Church office. You can also pick them up on Sunday mornings in August at the Information Center while supplies last.
