Living for Jesus a life that is true, striving to please Him in all that I do.
That’s the opening line to an old hymn called, “Living for Jesus.” It encapsulates the life that God designed for you. It is your destiny to become like Jesus. Ultimately our total transformation occurs when we attain our heavenly bodies – but in the meantime – our lives – our spirits – our choices are being transformed into the image of Jesus.
This Sunday we’ll have a family worship service occurring – scan read the e-announcements to know how this plays out for you and your family for Sunday.
Great to share in:
• Kale Russum’s baptism
Please keep in prayer
• The Tamerius family
As we looked at Peter confessing Jesus as the Christ, this week – live your confession. Just as Jesus told Peter to deny self and take up your cross. This element of self denial and sacrifice is the type of living the world is crying out to see demonstrated.
This week we’ll learn from Peter how to grow in our faith. 2 Peter 1: 3-11 will be the text. Check it out ahead of time and come prepared to be built up, challenged, and connected to God. See you Sunday.
